About the Solitude Line
The Solitude Line was created from the the idea of designing furniture for Superman, and asking yourself what that might look like. A lot of the inspiration comes from natural forms including glaciers and icebergs. One thing that pushed this concept was the idea that the furniture could be something that could be enjoyed 3–4 times a day as the light changes throughout the day. The idea was to create an environment for Superman that he’d enjoy hanging out in, without the use of Kryptonite.
