The Tree Line was inspired by Charles’ father’s timber business. His father would only cut down trees that were larger than 12 inches in diameter, and he always replaced them with double the amount of trees. He had a saw mill, and he would build house patterns and help restore many of the covered bridges in Indiana, about 2 – 3 bridges a year. It was this nostalgic memory that inspired Charles to create a line of furniture that was organic but still overlapped with Charles’ aesthetic.
